My Vehicle Project: Fly-boat

Fly-boat project

1. cardboard box
2. rubber band
3. refills 2
4. straws 2
5. construction papers
6. glue gun
7. glue sticks
8. scissor
9. water bottle caps 4
10. Ice cream stick

Motion and Design

My Experiment started with cardboard box made it to use as base body of the vehicle. I sticked the straws to the cardboard base. I made holes in the center of the caps used as tiers of vehicle. And in that hole we kept the refills. I used glued cap refill intersection to make not to squid. an ice cream stick inserted in front side of vehicle, it is used to connect with rubber band to apply force to pull the vehicle.

What happens?
If we pull the rubber band and let go the fly boat vehicle moves.
1. here a pull happen on vehicle, it is a force.
2. if we pull off the rubber band stored energy converted to kinetic energy and the vehicle moves.
3. the vehicle moves a doubled distance of the distance we stretch rubber band.
4. more you stretch the it goes far distance.
5. when you use small force, the vehicle moves slow. bigger force moves faster.
6. when you pull the vehicle it moves in a straight line. so the vehicle moves in a direction.
7. stopping the vehicle you need force. To stop the vehicle by push opposite direction.
8. After moving a distance vehicle stopped. it happen due to friction on the vehicle.
